Sun Signs and Love: The Aries Woman

Intensity is at the very core of an Aries woman. She is exciting in love and can be forceful, independent, and...well, imagine putting a match to a stack of dry kindling. The result could easily be the nature of an Aries woman in love. She is fiery, sensual, active, unpredictable, and utterly fascinating.

And she is domineering. When it comes to love, it is her way or the highway. What an Aries woman wants, she eventually gets. When she meets a man (or a woman) she wants, she'll stop at nothing to have him. And though she needs love, she will never allow a man (or anyone else) to dominate her. She gives exactly what she gets, so if she get loyalty, she gives loyalty. If she is met with deception...let's just say no one can match an Aries woman when it comes to this particular game. She will always come out on top.

An Aries woman can be jealous, but only because she doesn't share well. She wants all of her lover, and sharing him just won't happen. Her jealousy isn't the result of insecurity, but is merely a reflection of the position she must have in a romantic relationship. In other words, she must be the first priority, not the last. Anything else will drive her away.

If you want a one night stand, don't bother with an Aries woman. She is looking to find happiness in a long term relationship. Though highly affectionate and sentimental, she won't let these qualities show at first. You have to tease it out of her, but once you do, once you get her to let you in, she will be a lifelong friend and lover. Her ambitions know no bounds, making her the perfect companion for someone with equally high ambitions.

She will not tolerate neglect. This might make her seem a little demanding, and she is, but only because she wants a fulfilling relationship, not one where she never sees her lover. Be prepared to dedicate a fair amount of time to an Aries woman.

Above all, the Aries woman wants to be understood and appreciated. She likes to be admired. If you can give her what she needs, the Aries woman will do anything you ask.

The Astrological Sun Signs: The Details of Pisces

The twelfth and final of the sun signs is Pisces, and those born between February 19th and March 20th are under its influence. Pisceans are romantic, imaginative, and adaptable, but they are also highly unpredictable. Pisces is a complex sign, so understanding it means looking at the little details that make up this astrological sun sign.

The Pisces Personality

Most Pisceans are mystical, intuitive, receptive, and impressionable. Sometimes too impressionable. If you're a Pisces, you may find that you have a hard time saying 'no' to people, even when they're asking too much of you. The emotional side of you wants to help, regardless of personal cost. This means you often get yourself into undesirable situations. Luckily, your imagination and intuition come together to extract you just as quickly.

Pisces is rules by the planet Neptune. In ancient mythology, Neptune was the god of the sea. The sea is mysterious and deceptive, giving most Pisceans these traits as well. Neptune is the planet of glamour and illusion, so those born under the influence of this planet are quite good at appearing to be other than they are. This means that a true Pisces can adapt to any situation and rarely appears out of place.

The symbol of Pisces is two fish which are tied together while swimming in opposite directions. This somewhat contrary symbol signifies shifting emotional currents, conflicting desires, and extremes. Pisces tend to move from one extreme to the other with disturbing fluidity and without giving much advanced notice of the shift. This can confound friends and family, but it is simply the nature of Pisces. The fish also symbolize hidden depths, and many Pisces are indeed deep people who can be a pleasure and a pain to fully explore.

The glyph, or written symbol, of Pisces represents the two fish. This glyph is two crescent moons connected by a straight line, which is what connects one fish to the other. It can also be seen as human feet, which is the part of the human body that Pisces is most closely associated with. Either way, the glyph represents emotion and higher consciousness, but these things are tied to and limited by the material world. These limitations are accepted graciously by the typical Pisces.

The Correspondences of Pisces

The sign of Pisces rules the feet. Because of this, Pisceans may have lovely feet and toes, but these feet tend to be plagued by aches, bunions, corns, and heightened sensitivity. Good shoes are important and can help alleviate some of these problems.

Friday is considered the luckiest day for the average Pisces, and the numbers two and six tend to hold the most power. Aquamarine, a stone that enhances occult powers and brings serenity to the mind, is connected to the sign of the fish. This semi-precious stone is connected to the sea and is often worn for protection by those traveling on or over bodies of water.

Some other correspondences include:
  • Pale green, turquoise, and other colors associated with the dreamier qualities of the sea
  • Cities such as Alexandria, Casablanca, Dublin, Lisbon, and Seville
  • Countries such as Portugal and the areas in and around the Sahara Desert
  • Fig and willow trees
  • Flowers such as jonquil, water lily, and white poppy
  • Platinum
  • All fish and other sea-dwelling creatures
Many of the defining qualities of Pisces are connected in some way to emotion or intuition. These are great qualities to have, but because Pisceans are easily influenced by others, peer pressure can be hard to handle. Many born under this sign experiment with drugs or alcohol only because friends or other acquaintances encourages them to do so. Pisceans are also drawn to the unpredictable and unbalanced, and this often lands them in trouble throughout their entire lives. Still, it's not usually serious trouble, and they can usually extract themselves without too much difficulty.

The Astrological Sun Signs: The Personality of Pisces

Those born between February 19th and March 20th are born under the sign of Pisces, the twelfth and final of the sun signs in western astrology. This compassionate sign represents reincarnation and eternity. Pisces is the sign of the fish and individuals with the fish as a ruler tend to express themselves through the words "I believe."

The Character of Pisces

Pisceans have a strong connection to the spirit world, giving them an otherworldly quality that the other signs sometimes lack. If you want to get mystical about it, those born under this sign can be described as having one foot in the spirit world. If you are a Pisces you may find yourself torn between the necessity of the physical world and the attraction of more spiritual concerns. Because of this, you tend to split your focus.

Like the other water signs, you are deeply attracted to the depth of information hidden in the human psyche. You are generally intuitive and have strong ties to prophecy and the occult. When a Pisces gets a hunch, it's often right, or at least very close. This is especially true of hunches involving time.

Of all the signs, Pisces is the one most likely to inadvertently engineer their own downfall. Impracticality is a way of life for you, so falling prey to overindulgence happens far too often. Combine this trait with your penchant for hanging out with all the wrong people, people who may prey on your good nature, and you often get yourself into trouble. The good news is you recognize this. The bad news is that you're not very good at escaping trouble on your own. You are naturally conflicted about how to solve problems, so conflicted that you tend to stagnate and do nothing. You can overcome this trait, however, with determination and by making a decision and sticking to it.

At your core, you're likely unsure of yourself. Because of this, you tend to look for the easiest and fastest way out of any situation. Sometimes this works for you. Other times it really doesn't. Finding the right solution, instead of the easiest one, is difficult for those born under this sign.

Pisces and Its Relationship With Others

Pisces is ruled by the most elusive of all planets, the mysterious Neptune. This makes you difficult to pin down, giving you a reputation for avoiding commitment. You flow like the sea your sign is ruled by, and you are highly influenced by your surroundings, including people. You tend to absorb the feelings of others, so if your friend is sorrowful, so are you. This empathy is a powerful gift, but you tend to take it to extremes. This can annoy others around you, especially when it comes to sorrow and grief.

Your intuition and empathy are unmatched, but this sometimes creates more problems than it solves. You can be too impressionable, too easily swayed, and you don't like to say no. Pisces tend to fall in with the wrong crowd, not through any design, but through a series of apparent accidents. Learning to avoid this and refuse to engage when you shouldn't tends to take a lifetime, with many Pisceans never mastering this ability.

When it comes to your career, things can get dicey. Most Pisceans are not suited for office jobs, and the world of business and high finance can be overwhelming. This is not to say that all Pisceans must avoid these careers, but most would do better in a more independent career. Some will choose to be artists, musicians, or even writers. Others will decide an entrepreneurial path will suit them best. Some become truck drivers, or couriers, or any other job that allows them to be alone most of the time, or at least some of the time. Pisceans tend to make good librarians and archivists as well. Independence is key for the true Piscean, so any job that allows for it can suit.

Loyal, generous, and naturally kind, Pisceans tend not to be concerned with the superficial. If you are a Pisces, you are likely a good friend who looks to make deep and lasting connections with people.

The Astrological Sun Signs: The Details of Aquarius

The eleventh of the sun signs is Aquarius, and those born between January 20th and February 18th are under its influence. Aquarians are independent, analytical, and original. They have strong dislikes and set opinions. To truly understand this sign, you must understand the detail commonly associated with the astrological sun sign of Aquarius.

The Aquarius Personality

Most Aquarians are assertive, progressive, and inventive in many aspects of their lives. If you are an Aquarius, you are likely blessed (or plagued, as the case may be) by wishes, hopes, and dreams. You are probably a little too idealistic, and this can cause you to be disappointed in humanity at times. Despite this, you have a love of people, though more in an abstract sense. You tend to remain a little detached in your own relationships, probably because you are too focused on the larger issues of the world.

Aquarius is ruled by the planet Uranus. The first ruler of the universe was Uranus, Greek god of the sky. This gives Aquarius an appreciation for the bigger picture. Uranus was also the first of the modern planets to be discovered, and is so connected to change and the unexpected. It is the planet of invention, and of the marrying of science with sorcery. This tends to describe most Aquarians fairly well.

The symbol of the sign of Aquarius is the waterbearer. The waterbearer gives a gift that flows freely and without restraint. This represents the creation and giving of life. Aquarians are in tune with this concept and willingly give of themselves. But, like the waterbearer, they are too detached from the intricacies of life to truly understand them.

The glyph, or written symbol, of Aquarius are two ridged unbroken lines, one above the other. This represents the water which flows from the container the waterbearer holds. The lines are symbolic of electric energy, universal thought, and the great wisdom to be found in the future. All these things the true Aquarius understands.

The Correspondences of Aquarius

The sign of Aquarius rules the circulatory system, the shins, and the ankles. Because of this, Aquarians are prone to injuries of the ankle, especially breaks and sprains. The shins may develop varicose veins, and hardening of the arteries tends to be more common in those born under the sign of Aquarius.

Wednesday is considered the luckiest day for Aquarians, and the numbers one and seven tend to be the most powerful. Amethyst, a stone that brings faithfulness in love and grants prescience, is most commonly associated with the sign of the waterbearer.

Some other correspondences include:
  • Electric blue, or the clear blue of the sky
  • Cities such as Buenos Airies, Moscow, Salzburg, and Stockholm
  • Countries such as Ethiopia, Russia, and Sweden
  • All fruit trees
  • Flowers such as the orchid
  • Uranium and other radioactive metals
  • Large birds
Many of the ideas associated with Aquarius revolve around intelligence and originality. Those born under this sign can be innovation, unconventional, and even eccentric. This makes them a target for the narrow-minded. Because Aquarians are a little...different...they tend to get themselves into unusual situations and associate with strange individuals. This sometimes means they need help to get themselves out of whatever they got themselves into. Close friendships, while sometimes difficult for an Aquarian to maintain, can be beneficial for connecting to the world on a personal level. Also, it never hurts to have a good friend to pull you out of a slightly odd situation.
